   I got this as a gift for someone and there is no indication on the page that it is only compatible with certain phones and certain networks. The iPhone (which she has) is not compatible with this product to connect to the internet. It is quite misleading since you CAN connect to the device with the iphone, you just can’t share your iPhone’s internet connection, which is what I got it for. This is definitely not made clear on the Amazon product page so be sure to check the Cradlepoint website for phone compatibility. Also, beware of purchasing through Ace Photo as their return policy is only 14 days and if you get it as a gift, 14 days may not be sufficient.

   I was aware that this thing will not work with a Blackberry 8330 running os 5.0, but i purchased anyways thinking i will just roll the OS back on the Blackberry, not so fast.I am about to give up and return the PHS300 because Research In Motion makes changing the OS on the Blackberry nearly impossible. The Blackberry desktop tools make me want to kill myself, CRADLEPOINT PLEASE SUPPORT BB OS 5.0!!! …………….. I have a couple weeks left before i have to return it, i guess i’ll wait a bit because it seems foolish to think that Cradlepoint wouldn’t already be working on this rather large flaw in their product.

   I am very interested in buying this product but it doesn’t give many details about the product.

   It is battery powered?
   
   If it is, how long can i use it before the battery dies?
   
   Does is work in Canada?
   
   Am i charge a monthly fee?
   
   plz answer as i am very interested in buying…

   This does not work on iPhone. Thethering has been activated and allowed by the European carrier. So thethering obviously works – works on my laptop both Windows and Mac. Cradlepoint does not work with iPhone.

   Great product! However, don’t get it if you plan to use it with Ipod or other product that does not support WPA2 64 Hex encryption.
